This quilt is all about color placement. Alternating colorways of adjoining blocks, and switching the positions of the darks and lights, creates this stunning pattern. The Creative Grids Pineapple Trim Tool makes three sizes of pineapple blocks, all beginning with a 2-inch finished square surrounded by 1-inch finished strips. This version is created with 8-inch finished blocks.
Tip: Eliminate the math by cutting the strips using the center line on any of the Creative Grids 3-1/2 inch wide rectangles. This white line is at the 1-3/4 inch mark, the width of the strips needed for this project.
