The 5/16″ Set of Two Oval Trays DIY Rope Basket Kit from The Mountain Thread Company sets you up to sew two of our most fabulously useful oval organizer trays! This size of baskets are prefect for collecting keys, holding phones or remote controls, organizing a desktop, or gifting to a friend. Expect some variation, but the finished basket would measure around 5.5″ x 7” and 1.5” deep.

The Set of Two Oval Trays Kit contains the following:

• 8 Yards of 5/16” 100% cotton rope (an exclusive Mountain Thread Company braid made in our home state of North Carolina) to make one oval baskets

• Introduction card with details for machine settings, thread selection, and expanded tips for fabric wrapping and customizing the baskets

• Detailed instructions with illustrations for making the project AND finishing detail

• 1 heavy duty sewing machine needle

In addition to the materials included in the kit, makers will need a sewing machine**, scissors, and 50 wt thread. Makers can also incorporate any of their own fabric remnants if desired (fabrics are not included).
